First Scottish can confirm that all searches in the Register of Insolvencies issued from Monday 16th December 2024 will include robust and confirmed data from Accountant in Bankruptcy.
As can be seen from the statement issued by the Accountant In Bankruptcy on Saturday 14th December 2024 (see below) there was concern last week that information in the register could possibly have been compromised.
Now that the AinB have confirmed the integrity of the information supplied to ourselves we are delighted to return to business as usual.
“The Scottish ROI is currently unavailable due to a cyber security issue. We would like to reassure users that, following a thorough investigation, we are satisfied that no data has been exfiltrated and our network has not been compromised.
To mitigate the impact of this temporary disruption, an interim solution has already been implemented for our data download subscribers.
